Lindsey Must Go PAC Announces Addition of Jason Perkey As Senior Advisor

Perkey served as Executive Director of the South Carolina Democratic Party while Jaime Harrison was Chairman
Charleston, SC — Lindsey Must Go (LMG PAC), the super PAC dedicated to defeating Lindsey Graham and electing Jaime Harrison, announced today that Jason Perkey has joined as senior advisor. Perkey brings a wealth of experience to LMG PAC and has strong ties to the Palmetto State, having served as Executive Director of the South Carolina Democratic Party from 2015 to 2016 while Jaime Harrison served as Chairman.

“Lindsey Must Go PAC welcomes Jason to our growing team,” said Stephen Groves, Co-Chair of Lindsey Must Go PAC. “Jason knows South Carolina and he knows what it takes to win tough races. He’ll be an asset to our team as we work to defeat Lindsey Graham and send Jaime Harrison to the U.S. Senate.”

Perkey has been managing, advising, and—most importantly—winning local, state, and national campaigns for over a decade. He has a special knack for working on historic elections like Debra Haaland’s 2018 campaign to become one of the first Native American women elected to Congress and Barack Obama’s historic 2008 presidential race. In addition to serving as the Executive Director of the South Carolina Democratic Party, Perkey was also Harrison’s Campaign Manager during his candidacy for the top position at the DNC.

Jason graduated from Coker University in Hartsville, South Carolina in 1997 with a BS in Political Science and received his JD from Vermont Law School in 2003. He is a Political Partner in the Truman National Security Project and former National Lawyers Guild Heywood Burns Fellow.
